October Worship Playlist |
At Fellowship, we believe worship doesn’t stop on Sunday—it’s a way of life. That’s why we create a monthly playlist of the songs we’ll be singing together in worship. This playlist helps prepare your heart for Sunday, encourages personal worship throughout the week, and allows families to engage with the music at home. Let these songs draw you closer to Christ and unite us as we lift our voices together. |

The Pastor’s Pen |
Brothers and Sisters, In Christian theology, grace is the unmerited (unearned) favor of God toward His creation, and theologians often distinguish several kinds of grace to help us understand how God works in both the world and His people. Common grace refers to the kindness and mercy God extends to all humanity, regardless of salvation. It is seen in the blessings of creation, the restraint of evil, and the good that exists in societies and individuals—even those who do not know Him. As Jesus taught, God “makes His sun rise on the evil and on the good, and sends rain on the just and on the unjust” (Matthew 5:45). Common grace preserves the world from total corruption and displays God’s goodness to all, leading people to gratitude and repentance (Romans 2:4). Effectual grace, sometimes called saving grace, is the grace by which God brings sinners to salvation. This grace not only offers redemption but actually accomplishes it in the hearts of those whom God calls. It is irresistible and transformative, regenerating the heart and drawing the sinner to faith in Christ. Paul writes, “For by grace you have been saved through faith—and this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God” (Ephesians 2:8). Through effectual grace, God awakens the spiritually dead, sustains believers in faith, and ensures their perseverance to the end. Finally, the ordinary means of grace are the regular, God-ordained channels through which He strengthens and nourishes His people. This is the list we see in Acts 2. These include the ministry of the Word, the fellowship, the two ordinances of the Lords Supper and Baptism, prayer, and hospitality. The early church modeled this pattern in Acts 2:42, devoting themselves “to the apostles’ teaching and the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and the prayers.” Now, take a moment to read this passage... “And they devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and the prayers… and day by day, attending the temple together and breaking bread in their homes, they received their food with glad and generous hearts, praising God and having favor with all the people. And the Lord added to their number day by day those who were being saved.” — Acts 2:42–47
