“Learn to do good; seek justice, correct oppression; bring justice to the fatherless, plead the widow’s cause.” - Isaiah 1:17
“You shall not mistreat any widow or fatherless child. If you do mistreat them, and they cry out to me, I will surely hear their cry…” - Exodus 22:22–23
“Religion that is pure and undefiled before God the Father is this: to visit orphans and widows in their affliction, and to keep oneself unstained from the world.” - James 1:27
“For you did not receive the spirit of slavery to fall back into fear, but you have received the Spirit of adoption as sons, by whom we cry, ‘Abba! Father!’” - Romans 8:15
God doesn’t just care about children in hard places—He moves toward them.
He doesn’t just love foster kids—He knows their names, their stories, and their needs.
He doesn’t just welcome us—He adopts us.
And He doesn’t forget or condemn birth parents—He offers them grace, redemption, and a future.
This is The Why.
We care because He cares.
We open our homes because He opened His arms.
We love foster kids and their families because He first loved us.
Don’t let your pro-life stance just be a social media post… get involved… GET CONNECTED.
How: Pack a box, raise funds, take meals to foster families, consider being a support family, consider foster care, consider adoption, help bio families break the cycle of sin.
Know that Jesus said to Peter speaking about the church that the gates of Hell will not prevail. This is how we push back the darkness and brokenness with the power of the Gospel.
This is only the beginning.
